We offer a wide variety of options and feature choices on every ANSIR instrument. Here's few things you can think about on what could be your next bass or guitar...
ANSIR: The angle or rake of your neck will be determined using a simple trigonometry formula that will be done in our client discussions. That's right, this custom build process lets you have discussions with us to make sure your input is there each step of the way.
Woods: We go directly to a major wood distribution center, where we painstakingly pick through all the exotic tone woods until we find the very best of what is offered. We will not use any wood that is even slightly questionable.
Tone Inlays: We use various hard wood combinations to achieve desired characteristics and tone of the bass. Each piece of our tone cubes are hand cut and laid cross grain. The theory is that we are creating a very stable and resonating surface. Not only is the tone of our basses incredible, but the cubes form a three dimensional pattern.

Hardware: We use premium hardware chosen for their tone qualities, not marketing appeal. We will make suggestions for your bass depending on your tone preferences. We are in the design stages of building our own bridges / tail stocks and pick ups. With our tool and die background, you can be assured of a high precision piece of hardware.
Your bass will be set up according to your playing style.
Electronics: We are firm believers in passive electronics only! We feel active electronics over condition the sound and the true tone of the bass can not be captured. Any and all sound shaping should happen after the bass i.e., Amp, DI, Mixing Board (you get the idea).
During one of our client discussions we will be discussing tone preferences. We then use a proprietary passive wiring and circuitry technology to create the tone you desire plus a wide parameter of complementary tones.
We have created another options to our elctronics, with the addtion of a wired toggle switch your bass can be switched from a warmer tone to a wide open sound. All done passively!
Finishing: We offer everything from smooth as glass high gloss catalyzed urethane, to hand rubbed satin lacquers, or traditional oil and wax finishes.
We prefer to let the natural beauty of the exotic woods shine through, with only subtle additions to enhance the color and bring out the grain of our figured woods. For those who prefer a colored finish, we offer dye toned finishes and effects in any color or combinations of colors. Just a touch of shading or an all out sunburst, you choose.
We also offer specialty finishes, such as our metal variegated leaf finish, metals including; silver, copper, or for the "over the top individual" genuine 24k gold!
Regardless of the finish you choose, at Ansir Music, you can be assured we will use the highest quality products available and we will apply them with the utmost of skill, providing your instrument with a beauty and durability, designed to last for many years to come.
Body Designs: All of our bodies are first designed around a player's requirement and style of play. The bodies can be fitted with our custom thumb rest cut-a-way or our bottom cut-a-way for slap players or flat top. The choice is yours.
We are continually adding new body styles and wood combinations. All of our bodies are designed to have an elegant and classy look and feel. They are all truly works of art. The body is given a tone test to find its sweet spot and we keep this sweet spot oriented near the pick up.
We believe in bolt on necks. Our reasoning is the separate construction of the neck utilizes a perfect scale length and the envelope of sturdiness can be maintained. This will help in sustaining and eliminating any dead spots over the entire register of the neck. Once the neck is secured, using the strictest of dimensions, into the angled neck pocket, the tone, sustain and feel of our basses are second to none.
We are not yet sold on through body necks at ANSIR. We are experimenting with them but have yet to produce one that sounds and sustains as well as our bolt on necks. We now offer what we call our "Bolt Through System." This is a process of building a three piece body with the center being one solid piece of an exotic tone wood. We secure the neck to this center piece. What we are trying to achieve is the "best of both worlds".
